QUIET LIBRARY is a sketch comedy group based in NYC and LA. We make videos, perform on stage, and blog about stuff we find funny.

Chris Cooper was born in Monroe, Louisiana and reared 20 minutes away in Rayville, the White Gold (cotton) Capital of the South. He worked on his undergraduate studies at The University of Louisiana at Monroe where he participated in the college productions of The Divine and Barefoot in the Park. He later lent his talents to The Strauss Theater Company in the productions of The Edgar Allan Poe Marathon, A Tuna Christmas and A New Style of Murder. In October of 2000, he gathered what little money he could and hopped a Greyhound bus to NYC.

In 2004 he began studying improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre where he would meet the other founding members of Quiet Library. Since then Chris has performed improv all over New York City at various theaters. With Quiet Library Chris has been part of a successful 6 month run at the UCB Theatre of their sketch show You’ve Got Late Fees. Lately Chris has been writing and preforming in sketch comedy videos with Quiet Library. Chris enjoys riding his bike and playing with his pet Tiger Berg.
